Association of competent veterinarians for small animal heart disease

Ovic is a competent veterinary association for small animal heart disease, a non-profit observatory that aims to collect and analyze data regarding heart disease in dogs and cats.


The Observatory was born from the partnership with the Department of Pathology, Diagnostics and Veterinary Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Perugia and with the Molecular Genetics Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Milan; and with the patronage of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine of Milan and Naples.

The Observatory was founded on the basis of the experience acquired by the Italian HCM Feline Observatory, a Cardiec study group that has been active for years with its operators throughout the country.
